WIP - Lucky Jam

Linking up with WIP Wednesday at Freshly Pieced.

I've decided to call this one Lucky Jam...my own supercool (in my own mind) mash up of names from the pattern (Clovers and Jam by Fig Tree ) and the fabric (Happy Go Lucky by Bonnie&Camille).  I've got one block made:

and two more almost there:

and two more all cut and ready to be assembled.

These blocks go together relatively quickly and is (thankfully) an easy pattern to walk away from for a few days and come back and pick right up without missing a beat.

And that's about all I've got on my table right now.  I have a slew of other things piled up, just not actively working on any of them right now!

Weekend List update

Here was my weekend list:
  1. Make tote bag for Guy (he wants one for the gym) DONE
  2. Bind my scrappy trips quilt so I can call it finished! DONE
  3. Start new project (I have 2 new quilt patterns I'm just dying to make (and a bag pattern) and a serious itch to just start something new!!) DONE, well STARTED! (actually have 2 more blocks about 80% finished and 2 more cut out)
  4. Baste next quilt to be quilted (I have quite a few waiting...so if any of them get basted, I call success!) NOPE!
3 out of 4 ain't bad!  A little info, Bag - modified version of the Spice Market Tote by Amy Butler; New Project - Clovers&Jam pattern by Fig Tree Quilts, using Happy Go Lucky by Bonnie&Camille

Making a list...

checking it twice...gonna try and clear out some projects this weekend!

It's supposed to rain off and on here all weekend.

We've been so busy the past several weekends that we (the family) is calling today off limits and we are going to do whatever we want.

Which means I'm going to sew!

Here is my weekend list:
  1. Make tote bag for Guy (he wants one for the gym)
  2. Bind my scrappy trips quilt so I can call it finished!
  3. Start new project (I have 2 new quilt patterns I'm just dying to make (and a bag pattern) and a serious itch to just start something new!!)
  4. Baste next quilt to be quilted (I have quite a few waiting...so if any of them get basted, I call success!)
And that's my list.  I'll check back in periodically to let you know how it goes!

Scrappy trippin...

On Saturday I finally (and I mean finally...this quilt top has been finished since March!), got my Scrappy Trips quilt backing pieced together and basted and started quilting it! (all pics via instagram, you can find me on IG @lesleyworth)

(big shout out to my Guy for helping me out!)

and on sunday I was up bright and early and got the quilting finished!  (Well...after a bit of coffee and internet surfing).

and then tried to decide what to use to bind it...and pulled out some binding remnants...and it looks like it's plenty to bind this quilt with!  So that's my project for this week...hopefully I'll finish it early in the week and get another quilt top ready for quilting!

Or perhaps...since it's 4th of July week...I'll finally get my Starburst QAL (done in red/white and blue) blocks finished!

Or I'll find some other project to distract myself with (pretty sure of this one!!).

Ta-ta for now!
